It's actually quite fun when you suddenly become really good at it: sketching cubes, cones, spheres, and cylinders, and then, as the crowning achievement, the octagonal prism. After that, you'll also be able to sketch everyday objects.
Those who get excited early on can build on solid foundations later.

If you want to try it out and see if it's for you, this course will give you a solid approach: starting with simple objects, depicting volume, later perspective, human proportions, and compositional principles.
